Requirements
BSc Accounting with 2nd Class honours, upper division or equivalent must have minimum of 5 years professional experience in related duties
Responsibilities for the position in deltaAfrik
Undertake procedures to ensure the efficient cost control of the deltaAfrik project, including the recording, controlling, forecasting and reporting of all deltaAfrik engineering project cost related matters.
Review, analyse and make recommendation to the appropriate deltaAfrik engineering project level management for reporting and project progress
Required to ensure prompt analysis of cost issues associated with the deltaAfrik project as directed by the deltaAfrik Project Controls Manager
Be prepared to travel to visit deltaAfrik job sites as may be required when work is in the field.
Take ownership of the cost control function for forecast and reporting as assigned
Interface with deltaAfrik project personnel to develop forecasts and analyse project expenditures
Preparation of monthly and weekly reports, change notices, change log.
