2010/2011 POST UTME SCREENING FOR (100 LEVEL) AND DIRECT

ENTRY (200 LEVEL) CANDIDATES

This is to inform the general public that the POST-UTME screening of Tai Solarin University of Education for the 2010/2011 session will take place as indicated below:

1. THOSE WHO MAY APPLY

(i) All candidates who have chosen TASUED as their first most preferred institution in the 2010 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, and have scored a minimum of 180 in the April, 2010, JAMB examination.

(ii) ALL Direct Entry candidates who have chosen TASUED as their first most preferred institution for the 2010/2011 academic session and have applied through JAMB.

(iii) ALL Candidates seeking for a change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 180 in the April, 2010, JAMB examination.

(iv) Direct Entry Candidates seeking for a change of institution to Tai Solarin University of Education who must have obtained 2010 Direct Entry JAMB Form.

The category of candidates in iii & iv above should report at the Admissions Office for further processing of their requests for change of institution.

2. PURCHASE OF REGISTRATION FORMS

(i) Obtain a scratch card of TASUED Post-UTME Registration form for the sum of one thousand naira (#1,000) only from any of the following banks: TASUED Microfinance Bank, Ijagun Campus, FCMB plc, GT Bank plc, Zenith Bank plc, Intercontinental Bank plc , SKYE Bank plc and U.B.A.plc, all in Ijebu-Ode. In addition, processing fee and bank charges of four thousand two hundred Naira (#4,200) only should be paid to the aforementioned banks.

(ii) The scratch card shall have two numbers: PIN and Serial Number

(iii) The sale of scratch cards from designated banks and on-line registration commences on Monday, 21st June, 2010 and closes on Friday, 9th July, 2010.

(iv) Any scratch card not used by Friday, 9th July, 2010 will no longer be valid for on-line registration on the University website.

3. METHOD OF APPLICATION (LOG IN PROCEDURE)

Post-UTME registration forms with brochure can be obtained ON LINE through the following step by step procedure:

Go to a cyber café or anywhere you can have an internet access. Visit the TASUED website by typing http://www.tasu.edu.ng onthe webpage. Click Post-UTME Registration Form. Candidates are STRONGLY advised to Click the University Degree Brochure and CAREFULLY study the O’Level requirements for the courses they have applied, BEFORE registration on the TASUED website http://www.tasu.edu.ng

Use your Pin and Serial Number (as contained on the scratch card obtained at the banks) to access your TASUED On-line Registration Form.

Complete the Registration Form by providing the required information;

Submit your Form by clicking submit button.

Print out a receipt containing your passport photograph in colour. The printed receipt will serve as candidate’s identification/admission card for the screening test.

NOTE: IJMB not acceptable
False information provided by any candidate shall be detected by the special TASUED software application and such candidates shall be disqualified.

4 SCREENING DATES

Screening shall be conducted on Saturday,17th July, 2010 for all UTME (100 Level) candidates at the University Main Campus, Ijagun by 8.00a.m.

The date of the screening for Direct Entry (200 Level) applicants shall be Tuesday,17th August, 2010 at the University Main Campus, Ijagun by 9.00a.m.

These Screening exercises are mandatory requirements for entry into Tai Solarin University of Education.

5. SCREENING DETAILS

Each candidate shall bring along the following to the venue of the Screening exercise:

(i) Original colour print-out from the On-line registration
(ii) Original JAMB Examination Notification of Result slip or Direct Entry Registration Slip.

(iii) HB pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener.

Electronic calculators, cell phones (GSM, CDMA, etc.) and other electronic devices are NOT ALLOWED into the venue of the screening exercise and candidates are to arrive at the Screening venue an hour before the commencement of the exercise.

The results of the screening exercise should be checked on the University website ten (10) working days after the screening exercise.

All correspondence on the Screening exercise should be directed to the Admissions Officer at the University Main Campus, Ijagun, P.M.B. 2118, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
