ASUU STRIKE UPDATE:
NASU GIVES CONDITION TO CALL OFF STRIKE. The Non Academic staff of universities (NASU) who along with their colleagues at ASUU embarked on a strike action months ago have given the conditions to be met before their strike action would be called off.
The conditions given by NASU are that
1. The government should withdraw the unilateral award of 20, 20, 40 percent wage increase to NASU, SSANU and ASUU respectively;
2. rescind the threat of no-work, no-pay;
3. come back to the negotiating table and present all its arguments for discussion.
