Etisalat, is a Nigerian company duly incorporated under the laws of Nigeria in partnership with Mubadala Development Company and Etisalat of the United Arab Emirates. Incorporated in Nigeria as a private company, it acquired the Unified Access License from the Federal Government in January 2007.

Etisalat is currently recruiting for Senior Engineer, Capacity Planning (West, East & North Regions). Reports to: Head, Capacity Planning.

Summary Job Responsibility:

* Monitors the planning of EMTS-Etisalat network capacity to sustain current and forecasted growth in EMTS subscriber base and ensure that forecasted customer demands are met.
* Implements short and long-term network capacity plans to accommodate EMTS-Etisalat projections.
* Support the Head, Capacity Planning, by providing field sensitive feedback on the nominal capacity rollout strategy.
* Provides input in the modeling of current and future network capacity against future business growth/requirements.
* Provides functional and operational support in the planning of network capacity rollout across the country.
* Ensures adequate and effective network monitoring and regular network utilization trend reporting to determine appropriate capacity rightsizing activities.
* Ensures that network capacity planning is done in a timely manner so that it falls in line with regulatory stipulations for GSM rollout.
* Supports the Head, Capacity Planning to manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or related discipline.
* Post graduate degree /professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
* Five (5) years work experience, with at least three (3) years as RFP Engineer.
