First Officers – Bombardier CRJ series / Boeing 737 – 300 / Hawker 800

Job Description:

The First Officer is responsible for supporting the Captain in delivery of a safe and efficient flight.
The First Officer is to operate the above equipment and must meet the following requirements:
Total time: 1,500 hours flying time out of which 300 hours must be on a jet

The First Officer must also possess CPL with I/R and valid medical.
The possession of the ATPL and a Class J medical is a requirement.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR CAPTAINS / FIRST OFFICERS

Please note that Stage 1 of the recruitment process will take place in Lagos.

Stage 2 will be in London Gatwick.

Stage 1
Personal interview – approximately 45 minutes to convince us of your suitability to join Arik Air. This is your opportunity to convince us that you are the sort of person who will thrive in an environment where hard work and effort are paramount.

Stage 2
A pre-simulator briefing
Simulator assessment in a B737 or B757 simulator – 45 minutes as both pilot flying and PNF. We assess basic handling skills, CRM and flight management.

Technical Assessment – 45 minutes assessing your technical knowledge on your current / previous aircraft types
