UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY OF BEDFORDSHIRE AND UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL LANCASHIRE, UK
Admission Into Foundation (Formerly Diploma II) Programmes 2011/2012 .

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Foundation diploma Programme offered by the University of Lagos (Unilag) in the 2011/2012 Session. Highly successful candidates at the University of Lagos (Unilag) foundation diploma examinations are eligible for consideration for direct admission into the Degree Programmes of the University of Lagos (Unilag) through JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board), the University of Bedfordshire and the University Of Central Lancashire (UK). Students who have two A-level passes, HND holders and graduates of recognised institutions are exempted from the entrance examination and may be considered for admission into the Foundation Programme.
This is a strictly non-residential programme. The Univesity of lagos (unilag) will provide an intensive one-year taught Foundation diploma courses of study in the following Faculties:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of FIVE credits (English Language and Mathematics and three relevant subjects) obtained in one sitting at the SSCE/WASC, GCE/O/L, NECO with results obtained before registration. Note that in the university of lagos (unilag) Engineering, Computer Science and Actuarial Science candidates require credit in Further Mathematics.

Conduct of Examination:
v Examination Date: Tuesday, 16h August, 2011
v Venue: Multipurpose Halls, A, B &C, International School Halls, Faculty Lecture Rooms. v Mode of Examination:All Questions are Multiple Choice.
·Examinations in Mathematics, English Language and 3
relevant subject areas. 40 questions in each paper, i.e.
a total of 200 questions to be answered in 3 hours.
·Students to Report at designated venues-7.00 a.m.
Foundation diploma Examinations begin at 9.00 a.m.
Results:-Results will be released on the Internet and at the Faculties on Friday 26th August, 2011.
Registration: 19th – 30th September, 2011.
Period of Programme: 4th October 2011 – 29h June, 2012.
