At a press conference in Abuja, ASUU announced the suspension of the two-month old strike action and asked its members to resume work with immediately.
ASUU also said that the union will not relent in their efforts to rescue the educational system by pressing home the demands necessary at all times.
The national leadership of the Union had taken the agreement with the Federal Government to branches nationwide. Some branches, including the University of Lagos branch, voted against the suspension of the strike while majority voted in favour of the suspension of the strike.
unna try but at the same time some people no want make unna call am off cos dem neva get bar……………………thanks ooo….cos house don tire us…elenu bi eku!
Thank God oo
thank God…finally we can resume
I want to believe that all the 2009 agreement has been implemented and unanimous conclusion reached not that the strike is only suspended to the future ooo!!! Because i wouldn’t want a situation in the next one or two years where another obnoxious strike action strike up. If at all there will be any, then it should be probably 2016 to whenever they like to end it. I don’t pray for or delight in any strike action whether now or in future, am only vomiting my feelings and expressing the excruciating pain I and other promising and optimistic students feel about Nigeria’s educational incessant strike actions.
What can you if not so.
At last,THANK GOD
assu pls note dat strike is nt d best solution 2 our fallin standard of education

It’s a good beginning in a New Month.Asuu called Off Strike. Indeed everything that has a beginning must have an End. Thamks to God!!!.
If some members of the ASUU are still insisting on continuing the strike, they should persist whether they will see the wrath of the Lord or not?
Finally the lord has done it ooooo.my soul glorifies the lord and my spirit rejoice in christ my saviour for he has looks done on the poor student of the nation.
Fuck all those who opposes the suspension
We re glad dat d strike has been suspended.tank God.woe unto dose who is opossing d strike.
When two elephant fights the grass they say suffers. We the students are the most hunted and vulnerable of this strike action, hope our asuu executives and federal govt are taking note. Pray this strike is called off for real and will never surface in d future.
Alhamdullahi, all thanks be to God,a long awaited day has come
