Mimiko, others to kick-off Ondo perm secretaries’ training

ONDO State Governor Olusegun Mimiko will today kick off a five-day training programme titled “Advanced management development” for the state’s permanent secretaries at the Lagos Business School.

Among those who would deliver papers at the training targeted mainly at the recently named 19 permanent secretaries in the state are Mimiko who would talk on his vision for Ondo State, Dr Christopher Kolade, Dr. Eugine Okolie  and Dr. Ernest Ndukwe.

The state government was encouraged to organise the programme for the state’s permanent secretaries following the success recorded with the same programme organised in 2009 which produced the popular working code in the state civil service: “Commitment to Excellent Service (COMSERVE).”

COMSERVE had a great impact on the government being a major outcome of the 2009 edition of the programme.

A total of 30 participants are expected at the training which would be closed by the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Dr Aderotimi Adelola.

The initiative is in line with Mimiko’s Caring Heart agenda aimed at assisting government officials  to help the governor deliver his electoral policies and also implement  the policies of his administration.
