Sometime in March 2012, award winning R & B pop singer, Innocent “2face” Idibia‘s official Twitter account (@2faceidibia) was compromised by hackers. Unable to recover it at the time, the singer quickly created another one @real2faceidibia.
However, after a series of entreaties via mail to the unidentified hackers to return the account details, the singer finally got his account back in June 2012.
What’s news is that, the singer, along with Choc City generalisimo, MI have been verified by twitter. Their ‘verification’ swells the number of Nigerians who now have the blue ribbon appearing on their twitter profiles.
D’banj, Omotola, Genevieve, Nneka, Asa, Ice Prince, Brymo, Jesses Jagz and Dencia are other Nigerian entertainers who have been verified on twitter.
