Nobody Wants to Die: “Killer Village” in Aluu Now Deserted

While some people could not even watch the video, here the villagers watch on as the students were being murdered in cold blood

Following the cries from members of the public that all those involved in the unjust killings of four Uniport students, Omuokiri village in Aluu Clan, where the students were murdered is now a graveyard, as residents are fleeing the area for fear of being arrested by security agents.

According to Daily Sun, a visit to the area, which was about three kilometres to the University of Port Harcourt, portrayed an image of a tension-soaked environment. Most people had fled their homes, while the few others, who were still hanging around, kept safe distance from strange faces. Others quickly locked their doors as soon as they sighted strangers, to avoid arrest, as according to them, it was difficult to distinguish between civilians and the security men in mufti.

Some of them who had spoke to the newspaper recounted how security agents stormed the community and arrested people indiscriminately, and still warming up to come for more arrests. One of the residents, who spoke to Daily Sun on the condition of anonymity, condemned the mass arrest of residents of the community by the security agents.

It is also believed that another reason that made residents to desert the community was the fear of possible reprisal attack from the students of the University of Port Harcourt. But the President of the Student Union, Maxwell Soye Nyamabo, allayed the fear. Speaking to Daily Sun, he said that the students had been told to remain calm and allow security agencies to do their duties. He also added that the Student Union Week, which was billed to start yesterday, had been suspended indefinitely. “Injury to one, is injury to all, we have suspended the Students Union Week, to mourn our colleagues,” Nyamabo said. Meanwhile, the authorities of the University of Port Harcourt had declared seven-day mourning for the murdered students.

  1. Do this evil perpetrators thinks they can run forever? What are the Uniport S.U.G doin about it? Why not match to that town and reduce it to dust in a tit for tat reprisal? It is called the law of karma, thats man’s inhumanity to man of the greatest order! They should be paid back in their own coin!

  2. There’s a protest going on right now @ the popular choba junction, on the uniport axis of the east west road… Please the protest is threathening to escalate because the VC of uniport has refused to come address the protesters most of whom are students that had their colleagues brutally murdered some days ago by villagers and vigilantees of aluu community. Its should be on record that if this protest does escalates and turns into reprisal attacks by the students, the VC should be held responsible for it. Thanks

  3. What is the meaning of ALUU? In Igbo language it means ABOMINATION, TRAVESTY….From inception, that village community is forever cursed and everything that emanated from it therein. So I am not surprised.

  4. Ekene Johnson or whatever u call yourself are u listening to urself? D VC should be held responsible!! Hell,u’r an idiot and i belive dt devilish blood of Aluu flows in ur veins. He does not want to come out because he has children,i guess he’s thought about that horrible faith befalling his kids. Uniport is one hell of a skool. If u try wat those Aluu villagers tried in Uniben d entire village would have bn annihilated (i say dis without remorse). So Mr Ekene maybe u should shut up nd be grateful u’r nt picking d corpse of ur Aluu kinsmen off the streets of PH.

  5. @ekene you must be a damn fool! Violence begets violence! This is a war situation and I can promise you that right now the only thing that can calm everybody down(my self included) is for people to march to that community and kill every living thing there! People must realise you can’t just do this kind of thing, killing young men like animals! The sins of the fathers must be visited upon the children so I’m sorry I have no pity for any woman or child from aluu!!! You only have to watch that video to understand wat I’m talking about!!! Meanwhile the rivers state government and uniport must name streets/roads or buildings after those guys bcos we must not forget them at all!

  6. River state Govt should relocate that community from that location , they are not visitor friendly at all , beside they have a common animalistic behaviuor, how could they stand and enjoy the movie !!! Animals !!! federal or state govt to erect a project in that area

  7. Let the entire village of Aluu be wiped out. This injustice is just too much to bear, Aluu village doesn’t deserve to exist, I don’t know what UNIPORT students are still waiting for. By now they should have mobilised themselves & storm the killer village, let them surround the village & set it ablaze with all its inhabitants, every living thing, both humans & animals. The cannibals don’t deserve to live, let them be wiped out of the surface of the earth.

  8. Ditonn true talk! Try it in uniben or even enugu n c what life is talking abt. They can’t try dat in schools like dat! I trust what they can do 2 that cursed village. Alu melu ni Aluu… The abomination that happened in Aluu.. That’s it n d so called abominable land would ave bin 4gotten by now. Wicked useless abominable village! That village should b scraped out on d suface of this earth n never exsist in d map of nigeria. Bastards!

  9. I know definitely that God will reward the villagers accordinly, the killers & all those who watched the brutality & killing killing while it lasted. But for government, we all know that they will never bring the perpetrators of this wicked act to justice. Police will make arrests and before u know it, those arrested will bribe their way out of police cell. Government will set up committee to probe the killing & we will not hear anything about the case, and before u know it the case will die just like that. I’m not exaggerating, we all know how our police & govt operate. They will never bring the killers to justice. It is on this note that I urge UNIPORT students to pay Aluu people in their on coin. They have no moral justification to wait any further before they avenge the brutal & gruesome murder of their colleagues, else their killing will go unpunished just like similar killings in the past.

  10. @ Richard you are right! That is y the students of uniport should do smtin b4 its too late. So dat it will serve as an example 2 other communities n Nigeria as a whole! Enof is enof of killing of the innocent in dis country! Enof of d barbaric acts! Enof of injustice! The entire village should be wiped out SIMPLE!

  11. Can anybody match the name (Aluu n Bokoharam) together let the pronouncezation match so will known that their is bokoharam in the south of nigeria. To all young men nigeria plssssssssss dont look for a wife n go to aluu to pick ur wife,u can c they r carnival You r doooooom.
